Lots of unexpected things can happen on an engagement shoot, or any shoot for that matter. I mean, if you want predictability, then being a wedding photographer probably isn’t the gig for you. So when Neely mentioned she wanted to do her engagement shoot at her parent’s house we weren’t sure how that might work out. That is, until we arrived and Neely causally mentioned they had a canoe at our disposal. *Cue angelic chorus here!* When you add up the perfect evening for photography, a canoe and two insanely wonderful people who are head over heels in love with each other, well, let’s just say magic happens. Charlotte Weddings thought so too and showcased Neely and Justin in their Fall issue.
