A beautiful October afternoon set the stage for Stefanie and Seth’s St. Marks/Trump National Golf Club Wedding and we couldn’t imagine a more perfect day. If you’ve never been to St. Marks Catholic church in Huntersville, NC words simply can’t describe just how glorious it is, luckily, we’re photographers so we can let the pictures do the talking but the natural light seems to pour in from every corner of the sanctuary and we love how it just seems to glow. One of the things that made this wedding extra special to us was the Chicago-connection. See, the Love Shutter crew originally hails from the Windy City and as it so happens, so does Seth. Not only were we able to compare notes on our favorite restaurants and whether or not the Cubs will EVER win a World Series, but when we walked into the reception we noticed all the table markers were the names of various Chicago neighborhoods. It kind of got us all misty-eyed while at the same time, salivating for a family-sized Vito and Nick’s pizza. Anyway, back to the wedding. After the bridal party arrived, we were able to head out to the shore of Lake Norman for some photos and then it was off to the golf course for some private portrait time with Stefanie and Seth. The stately Trump National Golf Club was jumping to the sounds of Split Second Sound until it was time to send off the new bride and groom under a shower of bubbles. Our very best wishes to the new Mr. and Mrs. Hall, for a lifetime of happiness.
