It’s hard to know where to start with Jessica and Mike and their Ballantyne wedding. From their A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E flower girl to the sparkler send off at the end of the night, every single detail was perfect. We first met Jess and Mike at The Liberty for ‘adult beverages’ and pretzels and from the very first minute, we knew we had to be a part of this wedding. Jessica is an effervescent fountain of joy and lights up a room the minute she walks into it and we didn’t see her without a smile on her face the entire day. One of our favorite photos was Jess’ look of sheer excitement as she walked from the hotel with her father and turned the corner to saw Mike waiting for her at the altar. Just perfection. The Ballantyne’s Grand Ballroom was transformed into a stunning display of coral and white floral arrangements and each guest was treated to an Italian tradition of Sambuca and DiSaronno to toast the couple’s health, happiness and prosperity. The reception was kicked into high gear with the very first chord from The Downtown Band, who kept the guests on their feet literally all night long. (And, that may or may not have been Jess and Mike on the stage belting out the lyrics to ‘Don’t stop believin”. Just saying.) Jess must have known the Love Shutter crew has a sweet tooth because halfway through the evening, the traditional Italian wedding cookies made an appearance and umm, let’s just say we may have grabbed one or two to sustain ourselves throughout the night. (Seriously, you don’t want your photographers running low on energy now do you?) Joy. Happiness. Love. It was all in attendance at this wedding and we’re pretty sure everyone left at the end of the night wishing the party could have lasted just a little bit longer. Jess and Mike, our very best wishes to you for a lifetime of happiness.
